Rotterdam bouwt aan zijn metro

Voor het Centraal Station aan het Weena, bij de Coolsingel en bij de Leuvehaven worden ondergrondse metrostations aangelegd. Op de rechter Maasoever wordt de damwand gebouwd voor de bouwput om de metro onder de Maas aan te leggen. Aan de andere kant van de Maas worden in een bouwdok tunnelsegmenten voor onder de Maas gemaakt. In een proefopstelling van een ondergronds station in een fabriekscomplex kijkt men naar de functionaliteit ervan.
